Sterling Rubino has a passion for dance like no other. She found her love for dance at the young age of three and has been working to grow as a dancer ever since. She has been in our Pre-Professional program since the age of six and looking to pursue a professional career in dance. 

 

 

Background

 

Sterling has trained under Alyce Keaggy-Brinkmann from the age of six. Since then has danced roles such as Gingerbread and Mouse Princess all the way up to Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen and Step Sisters with Illinois Youth Dance Theatre. Sterling has performed in performances of the Nutcracker, Little Mermaid Alyce in Wonderland and Cinderella working her way up in each one. Sterling has attended multiple training intensives in places such as New York, Minnesota and Florida. Sterling is also a proud member of Illinois Dance Conservatory’s Competition Company, competing at prestigious events earning multiple placements and scholarships along the way. Sterling is interested in learning more about the body and working with mind and muscle connection to improve technique and strength, finding new ways to connect with your body and help strengthen herself and your dancer.
