ILLINOIS YOUTH DANCE THEATRE (IYDT)
IDC is affiliated with Illinois Youth Dance Theatre (IYDT), a non-profit, world-class pre-professional ballet company. IYDT performs two ballets each year, one in the Spring and The Nutcracker in December. Most IDC students in the Academy and Pre-Professional divisions are also members of IYDT, giving them the opportunity to perform in full theater productions.
Our next performance will be "Alyce in Wonderland" on May 11 - 12, 2023. Please visit www.iydt.org for details on the open auditions (January 22, 2023), as well as the mandatory workshops and parent meeting.
