Ava is from Palatine Illinois and has danced with Illinois Dance Conservatory and Illinois Youth Dance Theater since 2010 and began teaching in 2023. Teaching classes such as Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, and is Junior company’s ballet instructor for classes and all IYDT rehearsals. 

 

Background

Ava began ballet at age 2 and moved to the company when she was 5. She has performed in IYDT’s productions of The Nutcracker, The Little Mermaid and Alyce in Wonderland. Also attending multiple companies for their Theater programs and Broadway style dance. Ava has been in multiple stage productions in theater such as Annie, Wizard of Oz, The Addams Family, and Les Miserables. With an extensive study in singing and theater training for over 15 years. While in High school she trained with her schools dance team to have a solid background in Poms, Hip Hop and Jazz styles as well.
