IDC students have the opportunity to perform through Illinois Youth Dance Theatre (IYDT), IDC's non-profit, world-class, youth ballet performance company. 

 

IYDT was founded in 2000 by Alyce Keaggy Brinkmann, the Owner and Artistic Director of IDC. IYDT performs two (2) productions each year' The Nutcracker in the Winter and a different production that varies by year in the Spring. Auditions are held in September for The Nutcracker and January for the Spring production.
